You've completed all three major long trails in the United States. He currently works as an illustration letter and directs HIKER TRASH, an outdoor brand that embodies American hiking culture. He dabbles in all sorts of activities in search of new stimulation, including bikepacking, fly fishing, skateboarding.

Born in Baltimore, USA in 1971. Raised in San Francisco. After graduating from the University of California, he came to Japan with just a backpack. While working as a freelance writer, he founded the Japanese-English bilingual culture magazine "TOKION" in 1996.
